Consent to Personal Data Processing

Effective from May 24, 2026

I (hereinafter — the "User"), acting freely, by my own will and in my own interest, in accordance with Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ of July 27, 2006 "On Personal Data" and applicable data protection laws, give my consent to the processing of my personal data by the development team of the mobile application Rent Assistance (hereinafter — the "Operator") on the terms set out below.

1. Operator

The operator processing personal data is the Rent Assistance development team. Contact email for all data protection matters: support@rentassistance.app.

2. Categories of Personal Data

Consent is given for the processing of the following categories of the User's personal data:

  • email address provided by the User through the subscription form on the website rentassistance.app;
  • when using the mobile application — account credentials (email, name), information entered by the User into the application (property records, contracts, payments, meter readings) and technical device identifiers listed in the Privacy Policy;
  • web analytics data (where applicable).

3. Processing Purposes

Personal data is processed solely for the following purposes:

  • notifying the User about the release of the Rent Assistance application on the App Store and Google Play (for those subscribed via the website form);
  • providing the User with the functionality of the Rent Assistance mobile application;
  • handling technical support requests;
  • processing Pro subscription payments (via App Store and Google Play, without disclosure of payment details to the Operator);
  • complying with applicable legal requirements.

Personal data is not used for third-party advertising and is not transferred to advertising networks.

4. Legal Basis

The legal basis for processing personal data is the User's consent (Article 6(1)(1) of Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ; corresponding to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR for EU residents) and the necessity of contract performance (Terms of Service) to which the User is a party.

5. Processing Operations

The User consents to the Operator performing the following operations with personal data: collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (update, modification), extraction, use, transfer (provision, access) to the third parties listed in Section 6, anonymization, blocking, deletion, destruction. Processing is performed both with and without automation.

6. Transfer to Third Parties

To provide the functionality of the application and website, the Operator uses the infrastructure of the following categories of services, to which part of the personal data may be transferred in the technically necessary scope:

  • Cloud infrastructure provider — storage of account data, application server logic, push notifications;
  • External AI recognition service — text recognition on photos of contracts and meters (without transferring User account data);
  • Telegram — optional integration with the Telegram bot for collecting meter readings from tenants;
  • Web-form processing service — receiving email addresses from the website subscription form;
  • Google Play / Apple App Store — processing Pro subscription payments.

Personal data processing is carried out in the Operator's secure infrastructure with protection measures compliant with applicable data protection laws.

7. Term of Consent

The consent is effective from the moment it is given and until the processing purposes are achieved or until withdrawal by the User. After termination, personal data is deleted within 30 (thirty) calendar days, except where storage is required by applicable law.

8. Withdrawal of Consent

The User has the right to withdraw this consent at any time by sending a written notice to support@rentassistance.app. Withdrawal of consent results in termination of personal data processing and deletion of the User's account, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Account deletion in the mobile app is also available in the app itself: Settings → Security → Delete Account.

9. User Rights

The User has the right to:

  • obtain information about the Operator, its location and the User's personal data held by the Operator;
  • request rectification, blocking or erasure of personal data that is incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, unlawfully obtained or not necessary for the stated purpose;
  • file a complaint with the supervisory authority (Roskomnadzor in Russia, the relevant DPA in the EU) or in court regarding unlawful actions or omissions of the Operator.

Requests for the exercise of User rights are to be sent to support@rentassistance.app. Response time is 10 (ten) business days from receipt.

10. Confirmation of Consent

Consent is confirmed by one of the following actions of the User:

  • checking the consent checkbox when submitting the website subscription form;
  • creating an account and accepting the Terms of Service in the mobile application.
